A well rested family will feel better, interact and connect better, bringing an overall sense of deeper joy and happiness!
I'm glad you're here!
Hi, I’m Sonal.
A Certified Paediatric Sleep Coach and mum to three beautiful children.
I know what it's like to be trying to settle a crying baby for hours and nothing works. I understand how hard it is to function on a few hours of broken sleep because I've been where you are now. It's why I've made it my life's work to help hundreds of families improve their children's sleep.
A happy, well rested family means having more energy to spend with your little ones in the day. It means more 'me time' and couple time in the evenings and better health for the entire family.
I educate, empower and support exhausted families to get the sleep they deserve and need to thrive by using a customised holistic and evidence-based sleep approach. It's literally a game changer!
Nothing changes if nothing changes. You've taken the first step in looking for support and I'm really proud of you. I understand it's not easy but whatever the sleep challenges are, we can work through them together.

Frequently Asked Question's
I get it. I have been in your shoes. I know how you feel. I had questions too.
Here are the answers to most FAQ's. If you have any other questions, you can contact me directly. See contact section.
For some families, sleep disturbances cause little impact, while for others they can be hugely destructive. It impacts our ability to regulate emotions and has a detrimental impact on our relationships, marriages and mental health. Careers can suffer and for some there have been near fatal accidents.
A young child’s development also suffers and some children end up medicated when, in fact, a behavioural intervention for sleep could have resolved things.
Sleep training is often misunderstood as a process that requires leaving babies to cry. I don't use the cry it out method.
Sleep training responsively means assisting a baby or child and meeting all their needs while helping them to achieve the best sleep they are capable of at any given stage in their development.
It would be more accurate to use the term 'sleep learning' as we're teaching our little ones the skill of self-setting and connecting sleep cycles together. You will be there for your child, supporting them throughout the process.
It works! Parents play a huge role in the success of this process. Your commitment and follow through are necessary for success. If you can work through the process under close guidance from me, you will reach your goal. The only thing that may let you down is failure to consistently implement the strategies provided. If sickness, travel or other life events disrupt progress, you will still have the education and tools to get back on track when you are ready. If I see any reason to suggest your child may need a different type of expertise such as medical, I will disclose this upon receipt of your assessment form.
Possibly. It's how babies and young children communicate. I do not endorse ‘Cry it out’- this involves leaving a child in a room and not responding at all. My approach is gentle. I will work with your family to lay the groundwork to minimise this as much as possible.
When we implement changes to what’s happening currently and work on supporting your little one in learning a new skill, they are likely to be frustrated initially and they may communicate this by crying. I will help you to read the cry, understand what the needs are and offer a suitable response so you are never ignoring any cries. Change can be hard, but your child will adapt quickly and restful sleep is worth it.
Not unless you really want to. Sleep learning is not about stopping your baby feeding in the night if they still need a feed. In my experience, most babies learn to night wean between 5 and 8 months fo age but every baby is different and there is no requirement to stop feeding by a certain age. If your child currently feeds to sleep you'll find as they learn to self-settle they will naturally stay asleep longer and not wake frequently for comfort feeds.
100% of the families I work with achieve the results they are looking for when they commit to consistently implementing the strategies taught to them.
I will arm you with the tools you need to stay consistent. You'll also have a proven skill set of what works for YOUR child.
As they grow, there will inevitably be changes to your child's schedule, but you'll be able to stay a step ahead and have the confidence to proactively handle these changes.
